NutriHydro, a leading manufacturer of plant nutrients used in hydroponics, aeroponics, foliar, drip irrigation, and sprinklers, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Horticulturist to join our team. Our mission is to cultivate the next generation of growers, and we are looking for a dedicated individual who shares our passion for agriculture and sustainable farming.

Job Description:

As a Horticulturist at NutriHydro, you will be responsible for managing our farm operations, scheduling manpower, and overseeing activities that ensure our crops are cultivated to their highest potential. Our crops include lettuce in a greenhouse setting, and papaya, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers in open field cultivation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the daily operations of the farm, ensuring all activities are scheduled and executed efficiently.
2. Oversee the cultivation of our crops, ensuring they are grown and harvested at their peak.
3. Implement research projects as appointed by management, using scientific methods to improve our farming practices and crop yield.
4. Represent NutriHydro at trade shows, showcasing our products and engaging with potential customers and partners.
5. Attend consultations with customers, providing expert advice and guidance on our products and their application.
6. Participate in the company’s overall activities, contributing to our mission of cultivating the next generation of growers.

Qualifications:

1. A graduate degree in Horticulture or a related field.
2. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
3. Proven experience in horticulture, with a focus on crop cultivation and farm management.
4. Strong knowledge of sustainable farming practices and crop management.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
