Morning Sun and pH Test

pH Testing

SUNLIGHT TIP: Basil loves the sun. It needs minimum 6 hours of sunlight and if you give it that, it will give you back huge and abundant leaves.

PH TIP: Get a pH tester and keep your pH where it should be. Plants thrive at specific pH range. Basil is best grown at 5 to 5.5 pH water. At this range, Basil is able to absorb major nutrients along with trace elements. Above 5.5, uptake of trace elements will be constricted leading to yellowish and at times, chlorosis. Below 5, uptake of the major nutrients will be constricted leading to yellowish color and stunted growth. Below 5 also leads to trace elements toxicity which hurts your plants and could lead to its demise.
